Panayotis "Peter" Kaiafas lives in Valparaiso, Indiana. Born in Gary, Indiana he has played music, starting with piano,
since age 9. Panayotis started the guitar at 13. He re-discovered the Greek music from his childhood. He was given a bouzouki at age 30 and discovered the oud (outi in Greek) in 2016. Since discovering the oud he has studied Arabic maqam music.
